Summer Games Fest was pretty great, from a wide range of indies to some amazing world premieres. One of the highlights of the show was the gameplay reveal for Nether Realm Studios and WB Games Mortal Kombat 1! Our friend and content creator JayShockBlast attended the event and boy did he get some great footage for us all to see!
At Summer Game Fest, WB and NetherRealm Studios let press and content creators check out the game and some of its newest features, Jay got to chapter the gameplay of the upcoming fighter, and boy does it look amazing! Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) on Sept. 19, 2023. All Mortal Kombat 1 pre-orders will receive Shang Tsung as an in-game playable character, and those who pre-order the game for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S will also receive access to the Mortal Kombat 1 Pre-Order Beta, which will be available in August 2023. Coinciding with the Mortal Kombat 1 gameplay reveal, a new kollection of merchandise is launching today exclusively at the WB Shop.
