Gamescom 2023 is pretty much here and you can watch the initial showcase go down live, right here!
Gamescom returns to Cologne, Germany this week (August 22nd), and gamers are getting primed for a whole bunch of news and gaming goodness. Opening Night Live, hosted by Geoff Keighley, will kick off the events and bring updates on major games like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Alan Wake II, and Modern Warfare III, and many more.
There are a number of projects that have already been announced that will be getting the spotlight, and that seems to be expected. As Keighley noted online: “This year’s ONL is less about announcing brand new projects, and more about giving fans updates on some of the biggest games due out over the next year.”
That said, I wouldn’t be surprised to get at least one major announcement of some kind during the showcase (at least we can hope so). After all, everyone was pretty shocked when Dead Island 2 was suddenly re-revealed at last year’s show!
