The latest game in the Valkyrie RPG franchise, Valkyrie Elysium, has a release date along with a new trailer and a port of the PSP classic, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth.
RPG fans who’ve been eagerly awaiting Valkyrie Elysium now have a release date to mark down. Square Enix released a new (stunning) trailer for the game, on top of revealing it will release on September 29, 2022:
The world is on the brink of destruction as a new Valkyrie’s story begins. The VALKYRIE series depicts the end of humanity and their encounters with gods, through a unique world inspired by Norse mythology.
Even better, the game will be coming with a digital port of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, which has previously only been available on the PSP. Yes, it will be purchasable separately for those wondering.
VALKYRIE ELYSIUM will be available as a physical and digital Standard Edition on PS5 and PS4, with a digital-only Standard Edition available on PC via STEAM. A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available on all platforms.
The PS5 and PS4 Digital Deluxe Editions include the following:
72-hour early access to the full game
In-game item “Svartaljr: Sword of the Goddess of the Underworld”
A digital version of VALKYRIE PROFILE: LENNETH (PS4/5 version*), the beloved first entry in the VALKYRIE series available at last on modern consoles.
The STEAM Digital Deluxe Edition includes an in-game item, “Svartaljr: Sword of the Goddess of the Underworld.”
Valkyrie Elysium hits PlayStation 4 and 5 on September 29th, with the STEAM version launching on November 11, 2022.
