During Sony’s State of Play presentation, a new trailer for The Callisto Protocol was revealed, along with a December release date!
I have recently jumped back into the Dead Space series because of the upcoming remake of the first game. The game is a horrifying thrill ride that keeps you on the edge of your seat during your whole playthrough but let’s not forget…The creators of this game are behind the upcoming Callisto Protocol.
During today’s STATE of PLAY, Striking Distance and PlayStation showed gameplay of this upcoming horror title and it looks more bloody and grotesque than any Dead Space we have ever played. It was also revealed the game is coming on December 2nd, so it looks like we are in for a treat this holiday season!
Set on Jupiter’s dead moon Callisto in the year 2320, The Callisto Protocol challenges players to escape the maximum security Black Iron Prison and uncover the terrifying secrets of the United Jupiter Company. Players will need to search their surroundings and adapt their tactics, using a unique blend of shooting and close-quarters combat to survive a mysterious outbreak that has thrown Callisto into chaos.
The game stars Josh Duhamel as Jacob Lee, a cargo ship pilot trapped deep within Black Iron Prison, and Karen Fukuhara, star of The Boys, who plays a mysterious fellow inmate. More details about the game’s cast and story will be revealed later this year.

The Callisto Protocol hits PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Consoles, and PCs on December 2, 2022.
