Learn More About Star Trek: Infinite on Picard Day

Publisher Paradox Interactive showcased three intergalactic games at Summer Game Fest, including the reveal of the grand strategy game Star Trek: Infinite.

Star Trek: Infinite is being developed in partnership with CBS and developer Nimble Giant Entertainment that will be based on the blockbuster universe. Developers said the game will be set a few decades before Star Trek: The Next Generationplayers will run an entire fleet within the Star Trek universe. It will launch on PC and Mac sometime this fall.

More details on the game will be revealed on Picard Day on Friday, June 16.

Paradox Interactive showcased Stellaris Nexus, a turn-based 4X social strategy game in the Stellaris universe published under the Paradox Arc. The game is designed to be completed in about 60 minutes and will allow players to explore the universe, forge alliances, or conquer the galaxy with friends. A free demo of Stellaris Nexus will appear in the Steam Next Fest starting on Monday, June 19, and is expected to launch in Early Access later this year.

The publisher also showed Space Trash Scavenger, a survival base builder game developed by SquarePlay Games that sends players to hunt for riches while defending their ever-expanding Space Rig. The game is expected to launch into early access on PC soon, a press release says.
