The Consumer Electronics Show is underway this week and Sony has already made quite the impact. In addition to all of its other technological reveals, the PlayStation creator made a point to show off a sizzle reel for all of its current and upcoming PlayStation 5 games.
At the end of this reel, a blue slate popped up showing release windows for 7 PS5 games that had no previous release date.
The full list is as follows:
Pragmata – 2023 (Previously 2022)
Ghostwire Tokyo – October 2021
Project Athia – January 2022
Solar Ash – June 2021
Kena: Bridge of Spirits – March 2021
Stray – October 2021
Little Devil Inside – July 2021
The two biggest reveals have to be for Project Athia and Pragmata. It’s remarkable that Project Athia is just one year away. Square Enix‘s ambitious-looking PS5-tailored game doesn’t even have an official title yet, but has a release window of next year. Hopefully this means we’ll be seeing more footage of the 2-year PS5 exclusive this year.
Meanwhile, Capcom appears to have delayed their mysterious space/alien game, Pragmata. Previously, it was announced for 2022, but now it’s set for 2 years from now in 2023. I wouldn’t expect to see much of this title in 2021, but here’s hoping for a little snippet to shed more light on it and subsequently remind us that’s it still exists.
It’s worth noting that release windows are extremely volatile and can change on a whim. Check back here for more release date news! You can watch the Sony presentation below, courtesy of CNET.
