Skyrim Has Been Rated for Nintendo Switch

Some eagle eyed rating hawks, we have gotten more evidence that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is headed to the Nintendo Swtich. And soon too.

NintendoPal revealed the catch on Thursday, September 1, the game now has a European PEGI rating. The PEGI listing also lists the game’s release date as August 31, 2022, which has already passed. I hope that bodes well for a release sooner rather than later.

The Skyrim remaster released last year on the 10th anniversary of its release. It launched with enhanced version of the main game and its Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn expansions as well as 500 pieces of content from the Bethesda-sanctioned modding community’s Creation Club. The content includes quests, dungeons, bosses, weapons and spells, made by both Bethesda and community creators.

The Switch port hasn’t been officially announced, but rumblings have been in the air for a while (aside from the fact Bethesda has been releasing the game on as many platforms as possible) after it was rated in Taiwan earlier this year.
