In the lead up to the launch of Resident Evil 4 Remake, Capcom is having some fun by releasing a cute—disturbing—anime short.
Everything about this promo is golden. Seriously, this little anime short, done in the over the top cutesy style, while still being all kinds of disturbing is all kinds of fun. It’s a neat way to drum up excitement for the upcoming game, while offering something different for fans who remember the original so fondly.
It says “Episode 1” so perhaps they’ll be releasing a full series of these shorts for fans to enjoy. Either way, it’s a neat and unique type of promo that’s the right kind of silly. I need more game devs to have this much fun when promoting their stuff.
