Finally after tons of rumors and speculation, we are getting another PlayStation Showcase.
Sony finally ( and we mean finally) announced a new PlayStation Showcase set for next Wednesday, May 24th. The show will kick off at 1PM PST, and include over an hour of content for PlayStation. The details note that first party, 3rd party, and indie games will be included. The assortment will cover both PS5 titles and PSVR2 titles as well.
The show will be hosted on PlayStation’s official Youtube channel.
While not as excited as in person press conferences, these showcases are usually jam packed with announcements from beginning to end. Some of the rumors for the upcoming showcase include Spider-Man 2, Ghost of Tsushima 2, Metal Gear, and Castlevania. Sony has multiple studios with unannounced games including Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, and Blupoint. They also have several newly acquired studios such as Firewalk Studios which is working on an unannounced multiplayer game.
