Fans of Path of Exile 2 got a nice little teaser at Summer Game Fest, just enough to (hopefully) satiate appetites until ExileCon, set for July 28-29. This is the first trailer for the sequel in two years.
Grinding Gear Games said it will “will reveal everything there is to know” about the highly-anticipated sequel at ExileCon, the same event where the first official trailer first dropped in 2019. Developers will also showcase Path of Exile: Mobile and the 3.22 expansion for Path of Exile 1 at the event in July.
The free-to-play game will feature a new story to campaign through in addition to an overhaul of the gameplay and engine, but the original will remain available for players to enjoy. Both gams will operate on the same game client and share endgame systems.
