One of the biggest had to be the announcement of Octopath Traveler II, the sequel to the surprise Square Enix hit Octopath Traveler game that released 4 years ago. What’s even more surprising is that the trailer provided many story details and a February release date.

The first Octopath Traveler sold over 3 million copies when it released in 2018. This new Octopath Traveler II seems to use the same mechanics and story elements that the first one used, which should make players happy. We could even be talking about the sequel being just as lucrative.
Octopath Traveler II releases on on February 24th, 2023 on Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
