The Pokemon Company has officially announced a new Pokémon Presents showcase, which will bring fans 20 minutes of news for the iconic gaming franchise!
It’s that time of year, and almost Pokémon Day! This morning, fans were given the news about an all new PokémonPresents (like a Direct, but focused only on Pokemon). As has been the case over the last few years, the new presentation arrives in time to celebrate Pokémon Day, and will stream on Monday, February 27th at 6AM PT/9AM ET.

Pokémon Presents in the past have been pretty great for fans in terms of news. Hell, last year brought the formal reveal of Scarlet/Violet, updates to Legend Arceus. The year before that brought the New Pokémon Snap reveal, Legends Arceus reveal, and more! Suffice it to say, gamers have reason to anticipate these things.
While there are no details on what we might see next week, the showcase promises 20 minutes of news about the franchise. So plenty of time for some neat surprises. With the recent drop of Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games on the Switch, many are crossing their fingers the classic Pokémon games are going to be added to the service. Guess we’ll have to wait and find out!
