The good news gets better. We also learned that DC’s Black Adam and Gremlin Leader Stripe will soon be added to the roster. First up on the roster addition list will be Morty on Aug. 23, and his grandpa Rick will release later in Season 1. Classic Arcde and Ranked modes will be added “in the months ahead” of the inaugural season, a press release said.
The press release said the Season 1 Battle Pass “includes a free option with a variety of items, such as the LeBron James I’m Freakin’ Robin (Space Jam: A New Legacy) character variant, alongside a premium option featuring the Taz Tune Squad ’96 (Space Jam) variant, Harley Task Force X (The Suicide Squad) variant, and more.”
The roster includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn (DC); Shaggy and Velma (Scooby-Doo); Bugs Bunny and Tasmanian Devil a.k.a. Taz (Looney Tunes); Arya Stark (Game of Thrones); Tom & Jerry; Jake the Dog and Finn the Human (Adventure Time); Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe); Iron Giant (The Iron Giant). There is also Reindog, a MultiVersus original character.
