Today, EA and Motive featured their Livestream of the highly anticipated Dead Space Remake. At times remakes don’t always have the same magic they did when they were first released, but it seems like it won’t be the case with Motive’s Dead Space. During the live stream, Motive not only showcases early gameplay and art from the game, but they also let us in on a lot of details for this upcoming remake:
- Motive announced that they have been working with some of their biggest fans from the community. While doing this, they asked their community fans to be brutally honest with them on what to fix, add, and if they are headed in the right direction.
- Gunner Wright, who was the original voice for Dead Space’s Isaac Clark will be reprising his role for this remake. He will have more realistic reactions to things happening in the world.
- The Dismembering in the game will feature a new “body destruction technology” that will not just dismember the enemy’s bodies but, will actually show flesh being torn from the bone and be gorier than ever.
- The game’s story is being expanded as well, nothing is changing in the core of the story, but there will be more lore that connects the Dead Space universe and events together in this remake.
Those are just a few details about today’s stream, but for the full details, visual comparisons, and of course to get your blood pumping for this game I suggest you watch the full stream now! The game is rumored to be coming in 2022 for PC and next-gen consoles, but until then this is all the info we have for now!
