Nintendo closed out its Direct presentation with a first look at Metroid Prime 4, while giving it a 2025 launch window to boot.
It’s been several years (seven of them in fact) since Metroid Prime 4 was announced, and countless Directs where fans eagerly awaited any update. Today finally brings a first look at the game itself, which also has a new title, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
With the game not launching until 2025, we’ll have to keep being patient for a deeper look at Samus’ new adventure. Either way, it’s exciting to finally get something. Also, if I were a betting man, I imagine this would likely be some sort of Switch 2 launch title (much like Breath of the Wild release for both Wii U and Switch when it first released).
Hopefully we’ll learn more about THAT soon as well, but in the mean time, it’s nice to have new Metroid Prime 4: Beyond footage to enjoy.
