Today, WB Games and NetherRealm Studios have announced mega star Megan Fox will be joining the fight and voicing the a classic character returning the series, Nitara. Nitara not know much about this classic character? Here is a bit of her backstory:
Hailing from the dark and desolate realm of Vaeternus, Nitara fights to protect her race of vampires and utilizes her ferocious claws, razor-sharp fangs, and aerial abilities to take on any opponent in her path.
Megan Fox will not just be taking on the voice role, she will also be lending her likeness to the character as well. Just like us, Mega had been playing the game series since she was young and had this to say about this opportunity:
“I grew up playing Mortal Kombat and I can’t believe that I’m voicing a character in the new game.” said Megan Fox. “It’s an honor to be a part of one of the greatest video game legacies of all time “
Having previous experience as a vampire herself in the cult classic “Jessica’s Body” I think Megan is the perfect fit for the character and I can’t wait to play as her soon! Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam & Epic Games Store) on Sept. 19.
