The developers of Little Nightmares, Tarsier Studios, are hard at work at a new game.
Little Nightmares 1 and 2 are the only games I’ve personally given a perfect score to. They both deserve it with awesome gameplay, insane visuals, and overall a terrific story to tell. So call me excited when the developers announced a new game in a “new world.”
According to the studios official Twitter page, a new game is in the works. Attached was the picture above and the text “New world. Emphasis on new.” The studio followed up the Tweet confirming the game is indeed not Little Nightmare 3, which is disappointing in a way, but still very exciting!
Little Nightmares originally came out in 2017 and got high praise from critics, and then a follow up title released in 2021 with similar reception.
The good news for fans is that while this hint is clearly for their new IP, a recent job listing hinted that the studio was working on two new games currently. So perhaps we can still see Little Nightmares 3, or potential DLC for the second title, along with this new project.
