Konami announced during the Tokyo Game Show that the first two Suikoden games are receiving an HD remaster that will arrive in 2023.
During the Tokyo Game Show, Konami announced that the first two installments of the legendary Suikoden franchise will be receiving an HD remaster set to arrive in 2023. The remaster is titled Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars and will launch in 2023 for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The first Suikoden was originally released in 1995 for the PlayStation with the sequel following in 1998.

The HD remaster will feature new environment textures, new character illustrations, updated effects, completely new environmental sounds, remastered battle sound effects, an auto-save feature, an optional fast-forward for battles, and a conversation log.
Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars arrives in 2023 for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
