Sci-Fi/RTS gamers rejoice, as Homeworld 3 now has an official release date you can mark down on your calendars!
Over 20 years since Homeworld 2 launched, fans of the iconic RTS franchise will finally get their hands on the sequel early next year (March 8th to be exact). The developers announced the release date this afternoon, along with the arrival of pre-orders for four different editions of the game for fans to choose from:
Homeworld 3 was lauded as the 8th most anticipated PC game of 2024 as determined by a panel of 70 members of the global games industry. Also, during the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted Showcase, a new behind-the-scenes documentary looking at the making of Homeworld 3 was revealed.
Rob Cunningham, CEO of Blackbird Interactive, commented, “Homeworld 3 is a game 20+ years in the making. The team has gone all out to develop the ultimate cinematic sci-fi strategy game our very patient fans deserve. Blackbird Interactive was born to create this game and we can’t wait to get it in the hands of sci-fi lovers and a whole new generation of PC gamers in March of 2023.”
