We’ve seen all the multiplayer action. Now, it’s time for the campaign to grab the limelight. Today, Xbox has released a Campaign Overview trailer for Halo: Infinite, previewing upcoming encounters on Zeta Halo and a little more context as to why we’re traversing this dangerous new landscape.
The Banished have defeated UNSC forces and taken control of the mysterious Zeta Halo, threatening the survival of humankind. When all hope is lost and humanity’s fate hangs in the balance, the Master Chief returns to confront the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced. Here’s a fresh look at the Halo Infinite campaign that introduces players to true Spartan freedom in the biggest, most wide open and adventure-filled Halo experience yet, launching on December 8 2021.
Halo: Infinite will follow the events of Halo 5, with Master Chief still searching for the missing AI, Cortana. His mission brings him to the mysterious Zeta Halo, where he encounters some of the most dangerous foes he’s ever faced, including The Banished.
It’s still so hard to believe that we’re just 7ish weeks away from a new Halo game. For years, we’ve been ready for this game to arrive. After all the delays and reports of development issues, trailers like these all but confirm that the wait was definitely worth it. Granted, the story elements were a bit coy, but you can’t deny how awesome the action looks.
Halo: Infinite will finally launch on December 8, 2021 exclusively on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and PC.
