Phoenix Labs announced the release date and revealed PC support for life-sim Fae Farm at Summer Game Fest.
The undeniably cozy Fae Farm will release on Nintendo Switch and PC on September 8.
“As lifelong fans of the cozy farm sim genre, we’re thrilled to get Fae Farm into the hands of Switch and PC gamers this September,” Jesse Houston, CEO and Co-founder, Phoenix Labs, says in a press release. “Fae Farm grew from [Creative Director] Katie De Sousa’s desire to create a love letter to the farm sim genre into a studio-wide endeavor, and we think players around the world will cozy up to our take on a beloved genre.”
Fae Farm expands upon genre staples by offering players a deep farm sim experience that can be tailored just for them. Players will use a robust character creator to customize everything from their body type and hair color, to a variety of facial features, before setting off into the world. Each homestead in Fae Farm empowers players to design their homes as they wish, both inside and out. Fae Farm’s “Cozy System” rewards players for creating specialized furniture and home decor, buffing their health, stamina, and mana each day.
The game will feature online multiplayer on both platforms as well as local co-op on Nintendo Switch.
