Check out the latest trailer for Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty expansion, revealed during Gamescom.
New weapons include a warhammer, along with new cyberware to go along with them. The upcoming expansion hits current generation consoles and PC on September 26th.
The trailer unveiled new exclusive features coming to the spy-thriller expansion Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, including the Relic skill tree. The new skill tree offers a wide range of powerful abilities that allow players to master new playstyles and create unique, meaningful builds. Phantom Liberty also introduces a densely packed new location, Dogtown, with endless dynamic events and missions, action-packed gigs, new clothing items, weapons, cyberware, and more to explore.
The “New Ways to Play” trailer also highlighted the game’s redesigned perks system, showing off some brand-new perks that offer players more impactful gameplay options and the ability to take down enemies in thrilling, original ways. Enemy AI in combat will also be improved, making fights more dynamic and intuitive.
Some other updates include a revamped way the police react to players. The AI will now be able to set up roadblocks, smash players off the road, and find new ways to combat players in the game.
The neat thing about this update is that some of these features (updated police, skill trees, and vehicle combat) will be hitting the base game as part of the games 2.0 update released alongside the expansion. The whole content update seems to be a fresh start for the once troubled game, but if you haven’t checked it out recently you for sure should!
