Cyberpunk 2077 is now at Satisfactory Levels, Returns to Playstation Store

After an extremely rocky launch, being pulled from the Playstation Store, and offering fans refunds for the game CD Projekt Red is confident the game is finally at “satisfactory levels” for fans. On June 21st, Sony announced the game was returning to the Playstation Store, and now CEO Adam Kiciński has finally been patch enough for players to enjoy the game on next-gen consoles.

Mr. Kiciński is a recent interview had this to say, “We have reached a satisfying level in this regard.” He went on to state, “We have also been working on improving the overall quality, which we are also quite happy about. Of course, we also removed bugs and visual glitches and we will continue to do that,” he said. “Over time, we will also be introducing improvements to the general game systems that players have highlighted.”

As a fan of the game, I am very excited to jump back into this world in better working conditions. There is still a PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version of the game coming later this year and I’m sure I will play it when it’s available, but until then I will for sure be playing my last-gen version of the game.

Though next-gen consoles owners should be excited, Sony has also stated that the game is still not recommended to be played on the base PS4 console. I think we can all agree that this game honestly should have been delayed again before release, as well as the last-gen version of the game being canceled.

We have seen that early versions of the Xbox One and PS4 frankly just can’t handle the game. Delaying the game might have made investors and fans mad, but most of these issues could have been avoided if the development process was given more time. Over the next few months, we will keep you up to date on the game and changes coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version of the game, until then check back here at Cinelinx!
