During the Nintendo Showcase, Konami made a huge announcement regarding their upcoming addition to the Contra series, Contra: Operation Galuga. The game’s release date was revealed during the event, and fans of the Contra franchise were delighted to hear about it.
Interestingly, the announcement of the game was made several months ago, but it somehow went unnoticed by me. Contra, a classic game from the 90s, has a special place in the hearts of many gamers, and the upcoming release of Operation Galuga has generated a lot of excitement among fans of the series.
Operation Galuga is a complete reimagining of the original Contra game that was released for NES and Arcade systems. The game will feature the same fast-paced gameplay, challenging battles, and wild levels that made the original game so popular among players. As a fan of the series myself, I can’t wait to get my hands on this game and experience the nostalgia all over again.
The game will be officially released on March 12th for PS5, Xbox, Switch, and PC. It was also announced that a demo of the game is now available and pre-orders are now officially live! It was also announced that the physical version of the game will be released via Limited Run Games and will feature an amazing Collectors Edition for $174.99!
