It was announced earlier today that Dark Horse and Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast will be bringing a lot more new content to our shelves starting next year.
Fans of Dungeons and Dragons and Magic: The Gathering, I have excellent news for you. It was announced today that Dark Horse is joining forces with Wizards of the Coast to release an all new publishing line starting in 2025.
This will include original stories based on Dungeons and Dragons and Magic: The Gathering and take the form of comic series, graphic novels, art books, and potentially more.
“DUNGEONS & DRAGONS and MAGIC: THE GATHERING are two legendary games with incredibly strong fandoms and world-building gameplay,” said Marianne James, Senior Vice President, Licensed Consumer Products at Hasbro. “We are dedicated to expanding these universes through unique brand-offerings and world-class partnerships, ultimately bringing players and fans alike new, exciting ways to engage with these iconic franchise brands. From this licensed publishing program with Dark Horse Comics, we anticipate a lot of excitement to come with new artwork and creative storytelling.”
The first of these stories is expected to arrive in the summer of 2025.
