The technology company Viotek has revealed their next series of gaming monitors that bring important features while still being budget friendly.
If you’ve been thinking about updating your gaming monitor (or just looking to put together an initial gaming setup at home), you can’t really go wrong with Viotek. They offer a variety of displays without costing you an arm or a leg. I reviewed their GN32LD when it launched, and it’s still my primary computer monitor.
Today, they’re talking about their “refreshed” line of monitors in the GN/GF line of displays. The monitors range from 24-35 inches, in both flat and curved models, while including the FreeSync and G-Sync options. In short, they’re bringing all the latest for you to take advantage of and trying to keep the price down for you. Take a gander:
Highlights include the Viotek GN32DA, a 32-inch QHD curved gaming monitor with a fully adjustable stand. The GN32DA boasts a VA panel with 1440p resolution, 16.7 million colors and a 96-percent sRGB color gamut with an 1800R curvature for a brilliant, immersive experience. Designed to keep up with fast-paced games and movies, its 144hz refresh rate, 4ms response time and the ability to work with AMD FreeSync™ / NVIDIA G-Sync™ make for an incredibly smooth picture without motion blur, ghosting or tearing.
The fully adjustable stand allows users to lift, tilt or swivel the monitor to find the perfect viewing angle, but a VESA mount provides even more options for a custom setup.
The Viotek GN35DA 35-inch UWFHD curved gaming monitor combines most of the features of its 32-inch counterpart with a 35-inch ultrawide 1080p display that provides 33 percent more horizontal screen space and a blistering 200hz refresh rate (overclocked).
Both the GN32DA and GN35DA feature PIP/PBP to allow multiple simultaneous inputs for easy multitasking.
The Viotek GNV32CBO pairs a 32-inch display with 1500R curvature for an even wider field of view. The 1080p VA panel is capable of up to 165hz refresh rate. Aura:RED rear LED backlighting FX adds ambience. For those looking to go wide, the Viotek GNV30CB hits the sweet spot with a 30-inch ultrawide UWFHD display.
For gamers with limited space, the Viotek GFV24C packs game-winning performance into a smaller form factor. This 24-inch monitor is a flat 1080p VA panel with 144hz refresh rate and 4ms response time making it a compact but powerful desktop companion.
Like all Viotek monitors, the GN and GF series displays feature AMD FreeSync/ NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility to virtually eliminate image tearing and stuttering. This also allows console gamers to get more out of their Xbox since Microsoft bumped the platform to 120hz and added FreeSync—features unsupported by most traditional TVs.
The prices on each model (which are available now directly from Viotek) vary, but with introductory sales going on, even the largest model here is only $400. Definitely a great deal for all you’re getting.
