If you’re on the hunt for some high-tech gaming gear, Razer is almost always your best place to start looking. Today they’ve announced some updates to their line-up of products fans of the company should be excited to note. First and foremost, are their gaming laptops, the Blade and Blade Stealth.
Razer, a world leader in connected devices and software for gamers, today announced the new Razer Blade 14-in. gaming laptop. Striking a perfect balance of power and mobility, the new Blade is designed to be the most portable PC that can play games at maximum settings.

Measuring just 0.7 inches thin and weighing just over four pounds, the latest Razer Blade sets a new milestone in terms of power per cubic inch. Razer’s latest system is optimized for VR performance with low latency and plug-and-play compatibility. The laptop also supports the capture of 360-degree images to view in VR in games that support NVIDIA Ansel™ technology. This makes the Razer Blade the most portable virtual reality system available today.
Razer today announced its new version of the award-winning 12.5- inch Razer Blade Stealth. The “Ultimate Ultrabook” has earned more than 20 awards since its January launch, including “Best of CES – ‘Best PC’” and ‘People’s Choice’” and PC Mag “Editor’s choice,” and it is critically acclaimed worldwide. This latest laptop by Razer is designed to meet the needs of young professionals and students by combining best-in-class performance, top-of-the-line features, and improved battery life at a remarkable value price. The new Razer Blade Stealth stands as one of the most portable laptops in the world, measuring 0.52 inches thin and weighing 2.84 pounds. A QHD 2560 x 1440 IGZO touch-enabled display comes standard on the new Razer Blade Stealth to provide best-in-class visual performance. Designers, professionals and other creatives who need more pixels can upgrade to a 4K IGZO touch display for 100 percent Adobe RGB color saturation.
Also new on the latest Blade Stealth is a larger 53.6 watt-hour battery with over 15 percent more capacity than the previous generation. When on the go, the Blade Stealth can last up to nine hours on a single charge.
On top of providing new gaming laptop options, Razer also has some updates on their other products, like the upcoming Stargazer webcam. Pre-orders are now open and the camera is set to launch on October 2nd. If you pre-order now, you’ll get it discounted from $199, to $149.
The Razer Stargazer was produced as an advanced webcam with features for video production and broadcasting. Among its many abilities are ultra-high frame rate capture, dynamic background removal to create professional-looking streams without a green screen, 3D scanning for game immersion, and advanced facial/gesture recognition for desktop experiences.
