The newest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures from Playmates Toys delivers fans some goodness from the upcoming animated series on Paramount+.
The Ninja Turtles return for an all new animated series, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, later this Summer. As with any new TMNT project, that means there are some new toys for fans, and kids, to pick up to go along with them! Playmates Toys was kind enough to send me a box of the initial wave of figures (which start hitting Target shelves today), and I wanted to share my thoughts on them in video form!
Overall, these are some solid toys kids are going to love playing with. Coming packed with a ridiculous amount of accessories, and sleek sculpts, these feel like a steal at only $10 a piece. While the lack of articulation might mean collectors won’t be as interested, these are exactly the kind of toys that will get kids engaged (ensuring the future of the franchise for the next generation).
Definitely eager to see how the next wave of these Mutations: Mix ‘N Match figures turn out as well. These figures arrive first in Target stores starting today, June 25th with Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles premiering August 9th only on Paramount+.
