The Star Wars Day festivities continue as we present a new unboxing video to showcase Gentle Giant’s new Premier Collection statue based on The Mandalorian.
Gentle Giant LTD and Diamond Select Toys have recently launched a new limited edition (only 3,000 pieces) Premier Collection statue for Star Wars fans to pick up. The collectible depicts Luke Skywalker holding Grogu as seen in the season two finale of The Mandalorian. They were kind enough to send one my way, and I thought doing an unboxing video with my first impressions would be a fun way to celebrate Star Wars Day this year!
Standing approximately 10 inches tall, this iconic sculpture features detailed sculpting and paint applications, and is limited to only 3000 pieces. It comes packaged in a full-color box with a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity.
It’s just damn impressive. As I mention in the video, we can argue back and forth all day about how this moment turned out in the grand scheme of the shows, but there’s no denying the awe-inspiring impact it had when first released. Gentle Giant has done a phenomenal job capturing that moment here. This will look all kinds of amazing out on display whether it’s a focal point for your showcase, or simply part of a larger collection overall.
