It’s Star Wars Day! That means all manner of cool things are in store for fans of the galaxy far, far away and one of them is waiting for you in New York. Using over 20,000 LEGO bricks, they’ve created a Millennium Falcon Pedicab that’s offering free rides (first come, first serve) around Bryant Park. From there, you’ll be able to snap pics with the creation and Chewbacca himself! Best of all, tagging these pics with #RoarForChange will bring in donations to support the Force for Change UNICEF endeavor.
To celebrate the famed Star WarsTM holiday, May the 4th and the anticipated film, Solo: A Star Wars Story, the first-ever rideable LEGO® Millennium Falcon will hits the streets of Manhattan. Measuring nine feet long and six feet wide, the rideable LEGO Millennium Falcon pedicab will give fans a chance to hop on board the roving starship in celebration of Star Wars Day and meet Han Solo’sTM co-pilot, ChewbaccaTM who will be available for photo opportunities.
After 396 hours of design and build time and made from 20,300 bricks, this one-of-a-kind LEGO pedicab will make its public debut in New York City encouraging fans to snap and post photos of the massive model using the hashtags #LEGOStarWars and #RoarForChange to drive charitable donations. Roar for Change is a global challenge from Lucasfilm and Star Wars: Force for Change that supports UNICEF’s lifesaving work for children around the world. Between May 3 – 25, 2018, Star Wars: Force for Change will donation $1 to UNICEF for each public post, like, or share on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that includes #RoarForChange.
