Hasbro celebrated Star Wars Day 2024 a little early this year by revealing several new Star Wars figures during a special livestream showcase.
Being that Star Wars Day (May the 4th) hits on a Saturday, it’s understandable that some are getting a jump on the celebrations early. This morning, Hasbro got the party started with a new livestream in which they revealed a number of new Star Wars figures in both The Vintage Collection and Black Series lines.
Let’s kick off with the Black Series first (as those were the bulk of the reveals). Darth Sidious, is finally getting a figure release based on his Revenge of the Sith appearance. The Super Battle Droid from Attack of the Clones is also getting an individual release, and there are a pair of new two-packs ($50 each) revealed for fans to pick up. There’s Yoda (complete with a Jedi Council chair!) with Commander Gree as well as a Captain Enoch and Night Trooper from the Ahsoka series. Last, but certainly not least, we’re getting a “Duel of the Fates” three-pack ($74.99), bringing together Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Darth Maul together so fans can recreate their iconic battle from The Phantom Menace.
As for where you can find them, both Sidious and the Super Battle Droid are Fan Channel exclusives (Amazon, Hasbro Pulse, Big Bad Toy Store, etc). Yoda/Gree will be Hasbro Pulse and DisneyStore exclusive, the Enoch/Night Trooper are heading to Walmart only, while The Phantom Menace 3-pack is exclusive to GameStop.
On the TVC side of things, there was only one announcement, but considering it’s a new 4-pack ($54.99), it kind of evens out. This brings together four X-wing pilots, based on the New Republic fighters from Ahsoka, allowing collectors to drastically expand their New Republic forces/displays. This box set will be also be a Fan Channel exclusive.
For fans of the Retro Collection line, the other Prequel films are getting in on the fun. Just last month, The Phantom Menace Retro Collection box launched, but this Fall brings a dual Attack of the Clones/Revenge of the Sith multipack exclusively to Hasbro Pulse and the DisneyStore.
All of these newly revealed figures are set to arrive in Fall 2024, with pre-orders going live tomorrow (May 4th) at 1pm ET. Which of these are you most excited to pick up?
