Force Friday brought on a deluge of new Star Wars toys for fans to gobble up, but Hasbro isn’t slowing down. As we continue our approach to the release of The Force Awakens, Hasbro has more coming out for the movie for fans to track down. As a collector myself, it’s simultaneous a great and horrible time. Great because I love the influx of NEW stuff, but horrible on my wallet. Hasbro had a preview party last night at NYCC to show off some of their upcoming products, which includes our first official The Force Awakens toy of an original cast member (wookiee excluded).
Sadly, the Han Solo figure won’t be on sale until AFTER the movie hits (which is when I suspect we’ll get a great deal of other new toys), but it is still really cool to see. It’s an excellent sculpt that looks like Harrison Ford, while showing off his new(ish) look for The Force Awakens. That wasn’t the only cool thing, however, as they showed off these new Black Series 6 inch toys:
Those will be available in the near future, along with another round of Micro Machines:
The bottomline here, is that your wallet is still very far from safe. With Star Wars once again dominating everything, I suspect these cool reveals will continue to hurt my pocket book for a long time to come. Which of these are you looking forward to most?
NYCC is happening this weekend, and Cinelinx will be covering all the biggest news and announcements (as we have with all the major events this year), so be sure to keep your browsers locked in for all the latest.
