Hasbro’s “Imperial March” Livestream revealed all new Star Wars goodness, including the first toys for The Acolyte, along with other goodies to look forward to soon!
Teased the other week, this morning brought a new livestream event focused on the galaxy far, far away as part of their “Imperial March” celebration. I don’t think any of us really expected for them to reveal the first wave of figures for The Acolyte! I’m more than happy to have been wrong and thrilled to see we’re getting some merchandise for the new series sooner, rather than later.
But enough about all that, let’s get to the reveals!
The Vintage Collection is getting a pair of Acolyte figures with the arrival of Mae (Assassin) and Jedi Master Sol.
For the Black Series, we’re getting a whole wave of figures which include a number of all new sculpts (including a new alien species)! There’s Padawan Jecki Lon, Jedi Knight Yord Fandar, Jedi Master Indara, Jedi Master Sol, and Mae (Assassin). I’m assuming the inclusion of the “Assassin” designation here means we’ll be getting another version of Mae based on her appearance later on in the show (Sith apprentice?).
Regardless, I’m incredibly excited for all of these. Not only do they look impressive, but the variety included here is pretty damn great for a new series. Almost reminds me of the old Hasbro days of tie-in merchandise…Anyway, all of The Acolyte figures revealed today (including the above TVC figs) are set to arrive in Fall 2024, with pre-orders going live tomorrow (3/21) at 1pm ET for Amazon, Hasbro Pulse, and other major retailers.
Sticking with Black Series, the livestream also revealed a new addition to the recent Holocomm line of toys. This time we’re actually getting someone who’s been featured prominently in hologram form over the years in various media: Darth Maul. Considering Maul is the primary focus of my collection, you know I’ve been hooting and hollering about it. This one is a Target exclusive set to arrive this Fall, with pre-orders opening up tomorrow (3/21).
Last, but not least, Hasbro pulled the curtain back on their latest premium helment replica, this time allowing fans to don Moff Gideon’s helmet from the The Mandalorian season three. This one won’t be making it to stores until Spring 2025, but pre-orders will go live tomorrow at 1pm ET.
