Over the years, Funko has covered various DC characters from every corner of the multi-verse. Today, they’ve annouced that they’re tackling the World War II based comic, DC Bombshells, which places several DC Heroines in that tumultuous era.
Let’s take a look at Funko Pop!‘s interpretation of Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Batgirl, Katana, and even The Joker in the 1940s!

All Funko Pop! Heroes: DC Bombshells will be available in February!
Obviously these aren’t all the characters in the DC Bombshells comic, but I absolutely love the idea of Funko having it as their theme for their next line of Pop! figures. It’s a great comic that really promotes women empowerment, during a time where there wasn’t much of it. While I’ll likely collect them all, I have to say my two favorites are Wonder Woman and Katana. WW’s just captures the time period and the comic, while Katana’s is beautifully detailed.
In addition to announcing the DC Bombshells Pop!s, Funko also revealed a new line of Hero Plushies: DC, coming in March!
