As some of you may have noticed, I moved into a house just the other month. This meant my well documented Star Wars office had to be packed up. Thankfully, the Star Wars office 2.0 is better than ever, though the new digs—with its swanky hardwood floors—felt like it was distinctly missing something. Enter Ruggables.

I’ve had my eye on Ruggables since they introduced a line of Star Wars designs back in 2020. I’ve always loved the type of collectible that manages to blend in with a home’s “normal” decor, while still being uniquely nerdy. This is exactly what the Ruggables line was able to do, but do to spacing and such, I was never really able to take advantage of them.

In the years since, they’ve added a whole bunch of new designs beyond the initial 20, covering everything from the Prequels, Sequels, and even The Mandalorian. Graciously, Ruggable allowed me to pick one of their newer designs (I chose Mando and Grogu) to adorn the new office…and I was instantly impressed.

More than the design itself, which I love due to its indigenous aesthetic, everything about the process felt neat. I mean, I don’t buy a lot of rugs, so maybe this is just me. From getting regular updates on the production process, to delivery, and the instructions for handling/placing your rug, all of it adds to making it feel like an experience.

Each rug is made to order, and they send regular updates to you on which stage of the process your rug is in. That means customization is entirely in your hands and you don’t have to sacrifice a design you like in order to get a certain style. All the options are open to you from the jump!

I went with the flatter option, mostly because I knew it’d be in the office and would get rolled over by the chair (their helpful descriptions actually told me what would be ideal for that). It’s cool to be able to have so many options though for the same design, so if I’d wanted a thick/comfy one instead, I could!

The result means you get the exact kind of rug you want, in any size, and getting it feels like something unique to you. The padding underneath that comes with it not only adds another layer of comfort, but ensures the rug stays in place without needing anything extra on your floors. And, of course, the main feature of this brand (being able to machine wash your rugs quickly and easily) is incredibly helpful when you have both animals and younglings who insist on playing in your office…

All in all, I’ve been very impressed and a little over a month since getting it, I can’t imagine my office without it now. Not only does it help in a practical way, but the unique Star Wars design does a whole lot to bring the entire nerdy office together and feel “complete.”

Between the copious amounts of designs, styles, and sizes there’s a perfect Ruggable for every Star Wars fan who might need one. Due to its very nature, these are perfect for the fan who wants to keep things more modest in the home, while still working for those capping off their nerdy spaces. So if you’re looking for something different for the Star Wars fan on your shopping list this year (or a little treat for yourself), these are a great option.

Here’s the link to the specific Star Wars Ruggable I went with, but be sure to check out their full line to see if something else catches your eye.
