It’s crazy to think, that this year marks 20 years since the first LEGO Star Wars sets were unleashed on fans. Not only that, but it also marked the first time licensed LEGO sets had ever been created. I mean, looking at where LEGO is now in the pop culture, it’s hard to imagine a time when sets based off of movies/games weren’t the norm. It’s a pretty big deal, and the company is marking the Anniversary with some new special Star Wars sets.
While we knew they were on the way, today brings our first look at them and how they will all include a special minifigure that harkens back to their original sets (yellow face coloring and all):
