Though the reveal of the game leaked out earlier, UbiForward has revealed the first trailer for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Check it out!
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was such a surprisingly fun game. The XCOM gameplay and overall concept worked far better than anyone could have expected. As such, I’m super excited to see what the sequel has to bring to the table.
I love seeing more Super Mario aesthetics pop up, especially all the Mario Galaxy elements. Definitely having to put this on my list to pick up later this year. They also gave us this little taste of the new game in action:
Cursa, a mysterious and malevolent entity seeks out energy to further its nefarious plans, plunging the galaxy into chaos. Twisting the planets with its evil influence, it’s determined to consume all the energy of the Sparks, uncanny creatures formed by the fusion of Lumas & Rabbids, and destroy all who stand in its way. To bring order back to the galaxy and save the Sparks, Mario and friends team up with Rabbids heroes in a journey through mysterious and ever-surprising planets.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is set to hit Nintendo Switch in 2022.
