The Oddworld series is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch with the franchise’s most divergent entry, Stranger’s Wrath.Â
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is perhaps Oddworld’s strangest title. And while that might seem obvious, if you missed out on Stranger but happened to play the rest of my favorite series ever, you’ll be shocked to hear that Stranger is a mix between a 1st person shooter and a 3rd person platformer. I personally know so many Oddworld fans, new and old, that adore this game, and I’m so excited to see it coming to the Nintendo Switch.
There are few things that we love more than being able to play our favorite games wherever we are. That’s why we quickly grew to love our Nintendo Switch and the great catalog of Indie games that are finding a natural home there.
So, it’s with great pleasure that we’re announcing Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath for Nintendo Switch.
The game will be available to play on Nintendo’s stand at the EGX show in Birmingham, England next week. We’ll have people on hand there to answer any of your questions and chat to you while you play.
As for specific features, we’re still early in development but we’re aiming to make this game feel right at home on the Switch, with all the features you would expect on that platform.
With updated first-person shooter controls and gyroscopic aiming, the definitive version of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath launches for Nintendo Switch in January.
