The developers from Resident Evil Re:Verse get their chance to develop a horror game on the opposite side of the aisle.
One of the more exciting trailers revealed today during the Silent Hill showcase was Silent Hill F, which is a newly announced “core” title in the universe. Announced alongside the new Silent Hill 2 Remake, the new game is being led by Neobards Entertainment, the developers of Resident Evil Re:Verse.
The game is being written by famed Japanese writer Ryukishi07, known for the When They Cry visual novel series. Ex Nintendo employee Motoi Okamoto will be lead producer on the game.
Personally I believe this is the best trailer revealed during the event. The imagery used, the eerie feeling you get with the sounds and motions, it all screams Silent Hill to me in every way. The trailer is so simple with some type of red plant taking over a city, a girl standing over a memorial, and a face ripping right on off.
It’s pretty neat that we went from Konami being dead silent on the series for the longest time, to several games and a bunch of new merchandise all coming at once!
