An exciting development has come out with the brewing I Am Legend sequel: the film will star and be produced by both original star Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan.
In an exclusive report from Deadline, the bombshell news revealed that both Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan will be producing and starring together in the next installment of the I Am Legend story, the details of which are currently unknown. This will be the first time Smith and Jordan have collaborated on a film, and it will be interesting to see what the two can create together.
Additionally, Akiva Goldsman, who wrote the adaptation for the 2007 film, is returning to write the sequel as well.
It should be noted that the film is nowhere near going into production as yet, as there isn’t even a director attached to the project, but with Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan both working as producers on the film (not to mention being the stars), one can only imagine that the project has taken one big step closer to beginning production.
