Earlier today, Warner Bros. released the first trailer for the upcoming Legion of Super-Heroes movie.
Fans of the Legion of Super-Heroes got a big reason to get even more hyped about the film earlier today, as Warner Bros. released the first look at the film on Twitter. The trailer is short, just over a minute long, but it does a great job showcasing the film’s animation style as well as hinting at a great story.

I’m happy to see a movie featuring Supergirl. I’m still upset that the Supergirl TV series was cancelled so any time this character gets the spotlight is fine with me. I’m also intrigued to see tension hinted at between Batman and Superman. I can’t imagine that Batman calling Superman’s cousin a threat is going to go over very well.

Welcome to the 31st century and the Legion Academy, where a new generation hones their powers with hopes of joining the Legion of Super-Heroes. Devastated by tragedy, Supergirl struggles to adjust to her new life on Earth. Taking her cousin Superman’s advice, Supergirl leaves their space-time to attend the Academy. There, she quickly makes new friends, as well as a new enemy with old ties: Brainiac 5. The Legion of Super-Heroes movie is releasing on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital on February 7, 2023.
