The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power returns for its second season next month, and today’s new trailer (hot from SDCC) has all the hype you need:
Seriously, this is a great trailer. I loved the first season, though I could see why it didn’t land with others. This season, however, looks like exactly what people were expecting from the previous one. With all the setup out of the way and characters established, season two looks to be firing on all cylinders.
Sauron has returned. Cast out by Galadriel, without army or ally, the rising Dark Lord must now rely on his own cunning to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his sinister will.
