The next entry in the Dragon Ball anime series has been revealed at NYCC 2023.
Fans of Dragon Ball have reason to celebrate: yesterday at NYCC 2023, it was revealed that a new anime series, Dragon Ball Daima, is being released in Fall 2024 as part of the franchise’s 40th anniversary.
Dragon Ball Daima is set between the events of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super and is going to feature one heck of a twist: Goku (and the rest of the main characters based on the trailer) is getting de-aged into a little kid.
It looks like a wild ride for Goku and company based on the video below:
Dragon Ball Daima is based on work by series creator Akira Toriyama and sets out to tell a story that has never appeared in Dragon Ball before. The series will arrive in Fall 2024 and it looks like another great installment in the story of Goku and his friends.
