Marvel has revealed the first trailer for their next live-action series, Loki Season 2, showing off more time-shenanigans and the TVA on the brink of destruction.
Just as Secret Invasion wrapped up last week, Marvel is offering fans a look at what’s coming next with Loki Season 2. Through all we’ve gotten in the last couple years, I’m still fairly confident in saying Loki sits among my favorite Marvel TV show projects they’ve done. It managed to bring the epic feeling/scale to the small screen, while still capturing the week-to-week vibe that TV shows need.
Thankfully, today’s trailer looks to keep all that intact with great humor, characters we love, and some seriously higher stakes.
The series stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, with Jonathan Majors, Ke Huy Quan and Owen Wilson. Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Dan Deleeuw and Kasra Farahani direct episodes. The head writer is Eric Martin. Kevin Feige, Stephen Broussard, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin R. Wright, Tom Hiddleston, Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Eric Martin and Michael Waldron are the executive producers, with Trevor Waterson serving as co-executive producer.
Loki season 2 premieres exclusively on Disney+ starting October 6, 2023.
