After several tantalizing glimpses, we’ve finally got a proper look at the newest Gundam series, The Witch From Mercury.
At today’s Gundam Next Future event, Bandai and Sunrise revealed an official teaser trailer for the next installment in the Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury, the first Gundam series with a female protagonist.
This series, which takes place in the 11th official timeline for the franchise overall, will focus on Suletta, a pilot from Mercury who pilots the Gundam Aerial while training at the Asticassia School of Technology.

A lone girl from the remote planet Mercury transfers to the Asticassia School of Technology, run by the Beneritt Group which dominates the mobile suit industry. Her name is Suletta Mercury. With a scarlet light burning in her pure heart, this girl walks step by step through a new world.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury is set to premiere on Japanese TV in October 2022 and a simulcast for international TV is planned, though it’s not yet been announced who will be streaming the series for Western audiences.
