Oz Cobb takes on the Falcone crime family in the all new trailer for Max’s The Penguin series, launching this September!
While we continue to wait for The Batman Part II, The Penguin is on the near horizon to help fill the gap. Today, Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for the upcoming series, which continues to look all kinds of great.
I’m very much digging the vibes of this trailer. It manages to feel very much within the Batman world Reeves crafted and picking up on those story threads. Also cool to see Sal Marone (played by Clancy Brown) and some other familiar characters who might impact the Gotham we’ll see in the upcoming Batman sequel. I’m very excited for this one.
Starring Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb (aka “The Penguin”), the eight-episode DC Studios limited series continues filmmaker Matt Reeves’ The Batman epic crime saga that began with Warner Bros. Pictures’ global blockbuster “The Batman.” Developed by showrunner Lauren LeFranc, the series centers on the character played by Farrell in the film.
Strangely, we still don’t have a specific premiere date for The Penguin, but we do know it’ll hit Max this September.
