HBO/Warner Bros. has revealed a fresh look at the upcoming Dune prequel series, Dune: Prophecy, and narrows in on a November release.
We’re halfway through House of the Dragon season two and starring down the premiere of The Penguin in September…but HBO wants to remind us they have even more awesome in store later this year. Today, they’ve revealed a second teaser for Dune: Prophecy and given a November release window to mark down as well.
Look, chances are I was already going to be excited for this show (I was). This new teaser only cements that hype and leaves me aching for more. Despite only being six episodes, I think we’re in for something special here.
From the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, DUNE: PROPHECY follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. DUNE: PROPHECY is inspired by the novel SISTERHOOD OF DUNE, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
Dune: Prophecy arrives on HBO/Max (simultaneously) this November.
