The story of Castlevania isn’t quite over as Netflix has announced a spinoff series is on the way.
While Castlevania is officially over after four seasons, it seems Netflix isn’t quite finished with the overall story as they’ve revealed a spinoff series titled Castlevania: Nocturne is on the way.
While the original Castlevania followed Trevor Belmont, Castlevania: Nocturne will follow his son Richter during the time period of the French Revolution.

The teaser is short and to the point, giving us a good look at the series lead Richter Belmont and a hint of the story’s new environment with the sailing ships visible in the background. Other than that, there aren’t too many details given and there’s currently no release date for this series. Castlevania: Nocturne will feature Kevin Kolde as showrunner with creator/writer Clive Bradley also attached.
