HBO Max has announced the exact premier date for the third season of Harley Quinn, on top of releasing a trailer to showcase what’s coming.
Without hyperbole, Harley Quinn is one of my favorite animated shows (maybe even just shows) ever. It’s witty, smart, and despite being an adult comedy, manages to use the comic book characters in ways better than just about any other DC related media at the moment.
While I was late to the party in jumping on board the Harley Quinn train, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the show’s return for season three. Thankfully, we won’t be waiting much longer. HBO Max has revealed the show will return with the first THREE episodes on July 28th, with episodes then releasing weekly every Thursday after that.
Even better, they also dropped the first trailer for the upcoming season, and I’ve been laughing about it all afternoon:
The mayhem and madness continue in season three of this biting and uproarious adult animated comedy series. Wrapping up their “Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour,” Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) return to Gotham as the new power couple of DC villainy. Along with their ragtag crew – King Shark (Ron Funches), Clayface (Alan Tudyk), Frank the Plant (JB Smoove) – “Harlivy” strives to become the best version of themselves while also working towards Ivy’s long desired plan of transforming Gotham into an Eden paradise.
Mark those calendars down! Next month is gonna rock.
