Crunchyroll announced a huge collaboration with Aniplex, Sony Music, and PlayStation productions today: A Ghost of Tsushima anime adaptation.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will release on the streaming app in 2027, directed by Takanobu Mizuno (Star Wars: Visions “The Duel”) at Studio Kamikaze Douga, a press release says. Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Psycho-Pass, RWBY: Ice Queendom, and more) will write the show.
Ghost of Tsushima was critically acclaimed from its launch in 2020. The game’s highly-anticipated sequel Ghost of Yotei was revealed in September 2024.
